products for you, both this week and next week. I reviewed Biossance Squalane + Omega Repair Cream last week. Today, I would like to share my thoughts regarding Fresh Beauty's NEW Tea Elixir Skin Resilience Activating Serum (Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus).
I am a SUPER FAN of Fresh Beauty's Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment Balm (reviewed here) (Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, SpaceNK), Sugar Recovery Lip Mask Advanced Therapy (reviewed here) (Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus Set) and Kombucha Antioxidant Facial Treatment Essence (reviewed here) (Harrods, Neiman Marcus). I always purchase all three on repeat and listed them as some of my favorite skincare products. So when they came out with their NEW Tea Elixir Skin Resilience Activating Serum it really peaked my interest. So what's in this serum? Adaptive Phytocompound Tea (APT) Technology, which increases the skin's bioenergetic systems and antioxidant protection; Niacinamide, which helps to refine the look of pores; 5kDA Hyaluronic Acid, which works to deeply hydrate and minimize the look of lines and wrinkles; and Ceramide III, which helps strengthen the skin's moisture barrier & prevent dehydrated skin. What does this serum do? Fresh Beauty states it is proven to visibly boost skin's resilience by 62% (study conducted with 33 subjects over 8 weeks). With resilient skin you can fight everyday life stressors such as lack of sleep, stress and poor diet that lead to signs of aging. There's suppose to be a reduction of fine lines & wrinkles, smoother texture & visible glow, visible bounce and reduction in visible pores. You apply a few drops to your skin. Press it into your skin. And use it morning and night. Now, with this deluxe sample, I did not get eight weeks of treatment out of it and I only used it at night. HaHaHa But I did use it up! Let me share my results. It's a cloudy liquid. This serum has a green tea scent. When applied to the skin, absorption is not right away. It sinks into the skin slowly. I didn't experience ANY bells or whistles while using this product. My skin didn't look any plumper or hydrated. My skin didn't feel any softer or younger looking. There was absolutely NOTHING. I'm just going to be honest, I think this is a money grab product. If you want hydration, plumper and fuller looking skin INSTANTLY buy Fresh Beauty's Kombucha Antioxidant Facial Treatment Essence. It's AWESOME and IT WORKS! I give this serum a Bittersweet rating instead of Not Sweet, because it will not harm your skin. I just didn't see any results when I used it. I looked at some online customer reviews and there were people that did have results, but in my opinion they were not that impressive. There are other skincare products that could give them the same and even better results. Save your money or at least get a sample before committing to full-size.
