Bath & Body Works Strawberry Pound Cake Exfoliating Lip Scrub Review

Not Sponsored: I LOVE lipstick! I LOVE lip scrub! If you want your lipstick to apply smoothly, you must take care of your lips. They must be exfoliated, either manually (washcloth/lip brush) or chemically (I personally love Sara Happ lip scrubs). You must keep them moisturized (lip balm, lip treatment). I've tried many lip scrubs, but I'm going to come out and just say it ... I believe this is the worst. I picked up Bath & Body Works Strawberry Pound Cake Exfoliating Lip Scrub during one of their sales. The packaging is really cute. I love the font. It has cute little strawberry seeds and hearts around the jar. It's red which goes along with the strawberry idea. When you smell the lip scrub, it smells like sweet strawberry cake. But as soon as I looked at the lip scrub, I knew it was going to be a problem. GLITTER! I kept blinking my eyes and hoping I was seeing things. That's not glitter in this pot. That can't be glitter. I scooped the product out, applied it to my lips and yep ... I  had glitter lips! Not only did I have glitter lips, but also stained red lips. And guess what you guys? My lips didn't even feel exfoliated or moisturized. I really don't understand why someone would do this? You want to EXFOLIATE your lips, not draw attention to them with GLITTER. The glitter doesn't even wash away easily. The red tint didn't even come off easily. This is all mind boggling to me. This pot went in the trash. Bath & Body Works has other scents, but I will never buy them. HaHaHa Save your money and get something else.
