Flower Girl!

Happy Thursday Everybody! Friday is almost here!

I must admit, I've never been a huge fan of flower prints. Just something about a daisy on my butt or chest, that's just quite not right. LOL

There are some flower prints I LOVE (usually small prints) and others I detest. To me it's like plaid. Either you like the plaid or you don't.

However, when I saw Blumarine's 2012 Spring Ad Campaign one dress put a SMILE on my face. I fell in love with the black and yellow dress (2nd from the bottom). Maybe because it doesn't scream F-L-O-W-E-R! hahaha

How do you feel about flower (floral) prints and accessories? Do they make you feel like singing and running through a beautiful garden? Or would you rather just receive a bouquet of them and call it a day? LOL

Let me know your thoughts on flower (floral) prints or this ad campaign in my comments section. Have a great day!

  4. I think I am starting to get a feel for flower print apparels, or maybe it is just the constant wish that the weather get nicer so we can see some blooms. I can't take the cold anymore!

  10. There are very few flower prints in my closet right now. They have to be done just right to avoid the look of a grandmother's couch or WORSE, her curains. lol

Great post :) You made some floral finds.

  11. while i might not ever wear those huge floral prints in real life, they certainly make for a gorgeous, bold editorial shoot!

  12. I'm a fan but floral prints can be tricky. It's all about the right combination of scale and color that has it treading that fine line between gorgeous or garish. Happy Thursday Kim!

  14. Hi Kim! These prints are so lovely and vibrant! I love florals but don't usually wear them on a dress but love floral prints on accessories particularly scarves. They often really lift an outfit or just add interest.

  28. Never quite thought of daisy on a bottom issue... But you are totally right about it. :) I am slowly getting into prints, but for now it's all about tops and blouses rather than full on dresses, although I do like some of them and would love to have one for summer. :)

  30. The second from last picture - love that dress! It's flowery without being to sweet. I do like flower prints but generally combine them with something a little edgy - jeans, bike boots or a simple blazer. Have a lovely evening xo

  31. I'm not big on florals. I don't mind prints but whenever I try on a floral print anything, I just look weird. Maybe it's because I'm just not a girly girl.

  46. I will take flowers, yess!! I like to wear the print, but it depends what it looks like, not every flower print is great!! I remember one I wore flower print and these bees kept buzzing around me and tring to land, so I stay away from most flower prints sometimes, LOL!! Have a great weekend xx

  47. Flowers were the heart and soul of my handbag line for almost a decade, so I'm pretty over them. Although I do like the dark florals coming in for fall. Otherwise, it's the bright color of flowers that I will have to rely on ;)
    Happy weekend to you!

  49. They are some gorgeous floral prints!

I have I have to try prints on - sometimes things that look questionable hanging up in store are fantastic when you wear them! Smaller prints work better on me though for dresses I think.

  53. i love floral print.... but it's gotta be the focal point... and i would keep all else simple. but it looks like from looking at various ad capmpaigns, there's a lot of mixing... and lots of craziness! i might just have to try this trend. :)

  57. Florals are alright I guess. I prefer darker floral prints because then I feel like they can be worn year round where as pastels are more spring specific.
