Cardstore Greeting Card Review

This is a product review for Cardstore. I created a birthday card to review. All opinions are 100% my own.

Happy Monday Everybody! A representative for Cardstore contacted me and asked if I would like to create a greeting card using their website. My mom's birthday is coming up (April), so I thought it would be fun to make a birthday card for her.

It's all about ease & customization with Cardstore! The process couldn't be any simpler. You pick a card, add/delete wording (choose font & color), add picture(s) and then choose whether Cardstore mails it to you or the card recipient.

Cardstore's selection of cards are impressive! They have birthday, anniversary, baby, congratulations, encouragement, friendship, get well, good luck, graduation, love, miss you, moving, religious, sorry, sympathy, thank you, thinking of you, wedding & engagement and holiday. Whew! They also make photo, stationery and invitations. I'm impressed!

This is the card I chose for my mom! It's called "Cookie Tower" and it's by American Greetings. The artwork on the card is very pretty! I love the stack of cookies, cupcakes and fairy dust that appear on the front of the card. The artwork and greeting is permanent, but you can personalize it with "mom", the "person's name" etc. You also have the option to choose different fonts, font color and position the wording either left, center or right on the card.

Here's the inside of the card! That was my mom, when she was a little girl! Was she fancy or what? HaHaHa You can add 1-4 pictures to the inside cover of your card! You can also add captions for each picture. Let me give you a tip! A good rule of thumb is to always lighten your picture (just a little) before submitting it for printing, because any reprint will make a picture darker (I use to work for Kinko's Copies in college, so that's how I know HaHaHa). The greeting inside the card, can be changed. The original read, "...and delicious dreams-come-true just for you! Happy Birthday", and I changed it to what you see below. You can even add a signature. Again, you have a choice of font, color and placement.

That's it! You've made your card! Cardstore let's you preview & mail it. They can mail it for you (to the recipient) or send it to you by mail, to hand deliver or mail on your own (to the recipient). The choice is yours. You're done! I found the process simple, easy and the quality of the card excellent. It's a sturdy, professionally printed card that you would find at any store. My card came in a sturdy, non-bendable envelope. This card is $3.49. Cardstore has cards for as little as 99 cents. They ship domestically and internationally! Hope you enjoyed! I need to get hopping and send some Easter cards :) Have a great week!

  5. This is so similar to what I wrote about on my post about mums, I'm so glad you are keeping an eye on my blog. I'm so sorry you lost your Dad not long ago. It's no comparison, but we lived away from my Dad for four years and I got so close to my Mum so I do understand.

I have made one of these cards myself online (the UK version) but I think they are such a good idea if you want to send a card abroad because cost of postage is always such a fortune.

Yes, I'm just living in South Korea for a year whilst I take a year out from university. How were you able to do Korean beauty product reviews? Do they have Korean beauty products in America? because I can't imagine they do. You have so many products of your own! We only have American/British products in the UK, some other high-end French etc. brands. No Korean products to speak of.

Thank you so much for offering to put me in touch with some other great bloggers. I have a feeling you sent Jo my way, and she seems lovely.

  51. I love how thorough you are with your reviews, Kim! :) Is this that American Greetings website that used to also provide e-cards? LOL, I used to send e-cards all the time with them (do people still do this? Haha). The card is so you! The words is so sweet, and that picture of your mum made me smile, she's so lovely! :) *off to their website to find out their e-card options :P.
