Soap And Glory Orangeasm Body Butter & Body Wash Product Review

The next product in my Soap & Glory Series, is ORANGEasm. Orangeasm is Soap & Glory's newest scent and collection. It's not available in the States (yet), but is available in the UK. I ordered mine from a UK eBay seller. I'm going to cut straight to the chase. I hate it (LOL) and will not buy it again. It's not the product that I dislike, but THE SCENT. I was expecting it to smell like sweet oranges and this turned out to have a SOUR orange smell. It smells BITTER, SOUR, MUSTY and STALE to my nose. [If you're under 21, skip the next sentence.] I want to know who the HELL are the Soap & Glory girls f*cking, because this doesn't come close to an orgasm at all! HaHaHa If you like sour and bitter oranges (citrus), then you'll love this. If not, stay away. How the product works, is a different story. The Orangeasm Body Wash is in the same great packaging w/pump as all Soap & Glory Body washes. It dispenses and lathers well. The body wash is very creamy and moisturizing. It rinses clean. It's scented with fresh green mandarin, sicilian lemon and sweet orange peel oils (all three equal sour-sour-sour HaHaHa) The Orangeasm Body Butter has the same scent as the body wash and whipped consistency as all Soap & Glory body butters. It's a light to medium weight (whipped) and easily absorbs into the skin. This particular body butter also looks like it has bits of orange in it (see gif below). It's very moisturizing! This collection also has a Super Tonic Fragrance you can purchase with the same scent, but I'm glad I didn't order it, because I don't want to smell like this. HaHaHa Bottom line, it's a really good product but I (personally) HATE the scent. Go to the store and do a sniff test. YOU may like it. I've read some reviews from other bloggers and this is a scent, you'll either LOVE or HATE. I ONLY gave these a Bittersweet rating because they work so well. My favorite collection is still Sugar Crush :) They should've named that Sugar Obsession! LOL Have A Great Weekend.

  1. LMAO! I dont want to smell like sour, bitter oranges either, yuck. Maybe their definition of the big O was hitting a dry spell during this particular product launch. Thanks for the review, I'll be avoiding this one for sure.

  2. Hahaha so funny. I'm under 21 but I read the sentence anyway cos I felt like a daredevil badass. You know how cray I get about scents so I'm liking the look of your oranges better than the body butter. It actually looks quite nice in the pot, shame it has to be so foul on the nose. Hope you're doing well. Rosemary x

  7. Oh I usually love orangey-citrusy scents! This sounds like it's not my kind of thing though, I love sweet scents too.

At least the product was good when you used it to make up for you not liking the scent, haha!

Hope you have a great weekend ahead Kim! :)

  12. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!! That was brilliant!! I've never seen this one before & to be honest, I wouldn't have bought it anyways as I'm not a big fan of orange like smells. But, since it had a funky smell anyways...I'm glad I missed out. Hahahaha. You are too funny, better to be completely honest than not. Some might like and others won't. I know I wont as those scents don't go well with me. I prefer the others as well, Sugar Crush is awesome, haha!! Loved this review :))) Happy Friday doll Xxx

  44. That is a shame it smells so unappealing. Yes it should have a hint of an orange scent but it should me made to smell like soap or something clean. I am doing a post this week an A-mazing avocado soap scented with avocado and grapefruit BUT it is aversion of that those scents not the actual scent of avocado.

  47. Your R21 sentence got me laughing at my computer screen literally. I have an R21 reply to that but I think I won't stain your post with it. Urgh... I can imagine the bitter and sour smell. I think that scent is a very important factor in a product. If everything else is great but not the scent, the product is of no use purchasing at all. Glad you mentioned that it is either a love or hate scent.

I'm gonna catch up on your other posts which I've missed.
