Soap And Glory Sugar Crush Collection Product Review

I'm kicking off my Soap & Glory Series today, with a review of their Sugar Crush Collection (US HERE). I purchased the Sugar Crush Collection below with a $100 gift card I won from a giveaway hosted by Shea of I Would So Rock This Blog. Thanks Shea! This is my first time trying Soap & Glory and I wanted to share my thoughts with you. Look for a Soap & Glory Review, once a week on A Very Sweet Blog.

Sweet-Bittersweet-NotSweet
supersweet(run & buy it) sweet(really good,buy it) bittersweet(ok, issues)not sweet(not good,don't buy this stuff)
The Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Collection is Supersweet
Sugar Crush Body Wash ($16 USD / $16 RRP): OH MY WORD!!! I haven't LOVED a body wash, this much in YEARS! I'm not a lemon-lime person and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS STUFF! I'm super hooked and I'm already on my second bottle (available at Sephora). I can't go without it and DON'T touch my bottle! HaHaHa This is my NEW favorite body wash and as you can tell...I'm a little addicted! HaHaHa It's a lot of lime (like freshly squeezed lime). It's lemon. It's creamy coconut & vanilla. In a nutshell, it's a MARGARITA for your body (and I don't even drink a lot of margaritas!). The scent makes a statement, but is not overpowering.Your bathroom will smell SO GOOD after showering with this. You will WANT to take SEVERAL showers a day. "Oooh, is it time to take a shower?" "I think It's time to take another shower!" That's what you'll say! HaHaHa Not only will this get you out of bed to take a shower, it will get your day going in the morning! It energizes you! The body wash is super creamy. Add water and it creates an excellent (no scratch that...SUPERB) lather. Your skin will feel moisturized both during and after your shower. Really cute pink, white & lime packaging. Sturdy pump. The body wash dispenses well. If I could give this a SUPER DUPER SPECTACULAR SWEET rating. I would! It's off the charts. I don't have a crush on this. I'm obsessed! ;) I'll even go as far to say, this can be unisex. See my bracelet HERE.

Sugar Crush Body Buttercream ($22 USD / $22 RRP): If you want the Sugar Crush scent on you for the rest of the day, then you must purchase the body buttercream. Again, I'm not a perfume, highly-scented, lime or lemon girl and I WANT to SLATHER this all over my body. I sniff my hands and arms constantly when I'm wearing this (which is everyday! HaHaHa). Wear this and you will feel HAPPY! I promise! It's white. It's creamy. It's like whipped buttercream or frosting. A treat for your skin. It's not heavy, greasy or oily! It's light and your skin will suck it up. My dry skin does! Sluuuuuurrrrrp!

Sugar Crush Body Scrub ($25 USD / $25 RRP): Scrub a dub dub...I'm LOVIN' this scrub! Just look at that tub of goodness below! I know my scrubs! I've had oily scrubs! I've had greasy scrubs! I've had hard scrubs! I've had scrubs that fall apart! I've had weak-ass scrubs! I know a good scrub when I see one (ummm, use one). This is your once-a-week, I need to scrub my elbows, knees, feet, legs, arms and ass scrub. YES, put scrub on your ass! Be a hard ass, but have a soft ass! That's my philosophy! And while you're at it, get the back of those thighs! Do it! This is a heavy duty scrub! Nothing lightweight about it (want lightweight? wait until next week for my next review). You can SEE the ingredients! You can see the SCRUB PARTICLES! Scoop some out. It sticks, yet you can move it around (very malleable). It exfoliates really well. It rinses clean.Your skin will feel soft after using it. This scrub looks like someone freshly prepped, prepared and packaged it just for you. It's that FRESH! I'm going to let you in on a secret. This is my SECOND favorite Soap & Glory scrub! It's super awesome, but there's ONE that (in my humble opinion) beats it (more moisture and not as thick). However, the one that beats it, is not available in the States (yet). Waaaagh! Waaagh! You'll have to resort to eBay or a good friend that lives in England for the hook-up. I'll let you know what it is NEXT WEEK! Ain't I A STINKER! >.< HaHaHa Have A Great Weekend Everybody!

  1. I must really try this line soon! There's this vlogger in YouTube who raves about them constantly, and after reading your review, I'm sold!
    Have a fab Friday, Kim:)

  2. Hey Kim! I'm finally back to the blogging world! :D How have you been, dear?
OMG! I totally agree with you! I am NOT a lemon/lime person either! But if you have loved it, so would I! Haha! Several showers in a day!? I actually do that, too. Whenever I have an "exciting" new bath product, I just keep showering all day until I run out! That kinda bothers my mum xD
Anyway, I so want to try this now!!! we back in plain old India, we don't have Sephora (yet) and shipping costs a nightmare -_- bundled with the customs and everything...
But I sooooo want to try this!
And, congratulations on winning the giveaway!!!

  3. Wow, the products sounds amazing. Anything that makes you want to shower multiple times a day is a plus in my book. I have trouble getting out of bed and into the shower every morning, so any motivation is welcomed :)

  7. You know I love this stuff already, haha!! AM obsessed, even when I don't need any more, I still go through the isle with all the products in it to have a play :) The Sugar Crush is gorgeous, reminds me of a key lime pie at times, hahaha!! I have the big bottle of it with the lotion as well & the handcream too, hahaha!! Though, I have other scents that I love just as much too. I use other products to review, but I always come bck to these, I love them so :) I'm going to try next their hair products to see what their like!! Can't wait to see the other reviews doll :)) Super cool you won the card, those are always a big help when you like something a lot :)) Happy Friday, have a great weekend :) xx

  8. So awesome that you love the products you got with the gift card! Congrats on winning the competition :)

You make that body wash sound amazing Kim! :) Although I'm not so much of a scrub fan, I use a facial scrub and that's about it!

  10. I can't believe I still haven't tried this range as I often walk past it in our huge Boots pharmacy and they often do special offers. I may start with the buttercream. I'm always wary of body butters as they are often difficult to rub in compared to a lotion but this one sounds light - I trust your review you see!! I can almost smell that body scrub from here too! Enjoy your weekend, Kim.

  17. I've always loved their packaging and scents (and I also use some of the body care tools they also sells - LOVE those), but I never bought anything because there were parabens in so many formulas. Now I will definitely give that body wash a go (if I manage to find it). Great review! x

  18. I bought this brand at Boots before, and have only tried a few of their products and liked them for the most part, but I have not tried this particular sugar line. The body wash that I had bought was the only one very strongly scented, so I seldom used it. I would give these a try though, I love clean lemon scents! I laughed at your sugar scrub comment, haha ... soft ass and all! :)

  43. Wow Kim, I don't remember ever reading here such an enthusiastic review of a whole line! Honestly, The shower gel and body butter are a bit too pricey in my opinion, while a good scrub is worth that price. So I'm eager to your next post to know your absolute favourite! Big hugs

  55. Haha a hell of a lot of supersweets here. Something tells me you're totally digging Soap & Glory and the moment? I'm not a fan of body lotions (can't be bothered being a sticky gal and being locked up in my room cos I can't put on any clothes) but that scrub sounds perfect. Everyone says the Soap & Glory scents are nice, so it's good to know that there is a smellophobe out there like me that rates this. Oh yep, that's another one for the list then.
