Golden Globes 2015

Here are my picks for the 2015 Golden Globes! Did you have a favorite? My favorites were Viola Davis and Calista Flockhart. I love how Emma Stone and Lorde (her hair looks awesome pulled back) rocked pants. Jane Fonda and Helen Mirren put some of the younger starlets to shame (they looked great). Heidi Klum seems to be back on her fashion game (I was worried about her for a couple of years, let's hope this sticks). Overall, I just wish there was more WOW on the red carpet :) SAFE seemed to be the word. However, nice presentation. The winner of the Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette is Shaunie W. Congratulations! I sent you an email.

Calista Flockhart, Reese Witherspoon, Amy Adams, Sienna Miller

Emma Stone, Jennifer Aniston, Julianne Moore, Lorde

Katie Holmes, Naomi Watts, Jenna Dewan, Julia Goldani

Viola Davis, Helen Mirren, Jane Fonda, Heidi Klum

  1. I agree the word was definitely "Safe" I'm a bit disappointed by it but hopefully they will go bigger in the next show...

  2. I love Emma Stone - those pants outfits are quite blog I think? when everyone is wearing dresses? I'd always go for a fancy dress over a pair of pants any day I had to dress up though, so picking pants instead (and wearing them so well!) seems a bold move from my perspective :)

  14. Oh, so many lovely dresses - sometimes that's just the best part of an award ceremony :)
I hadn't seen any pic until I read your blogpost and I agree with you that there are too many classic safe dresses. My favourite is Julianne Moore, that feathered (?) gown is so pretty!

  15. Emma Stone looked great in her Lanvin pants and beaded top. She really wore it well. Julianne Moore also looked great in her Givenchy with the the touch of feathers at the bottom. The others looked safe here.

  19. Kim,

Great fashion Golden Globes roundup! I must say Helen Mirren and Jane Fonda must have a hidden fountain of youth somewhere because goodness they look spectacular! I liked Jen Aniston's look but still torn about her hair up. Jenna Dewan in Carolina Herrera was so flawless. Viola was glowing I just love her! Congrats to your giveaway winner as well.

    Cheers!

  22. I quite liked how beautiful everyone look and even though it was all on the safer side I do think it's not as easy as the Music Video Awards…singers are so much more out there and I do think actors and actresses take a step back but Emma Stone has really developed and become an 'icon' in my own opinion! :)

  24. I thought Emma Stone, Kate Beckinsale and Julianne Moore looked too fab for words and their hair and makeup were spot on as well. The majority of the fashion was good but some people look liked they needed to ease up on the bronzer cause they were bordering on oompa loompa territory ;p

  25. Hey Kim, I haven't watch it yet but I've seen some pics. I love Kate Hudson! Always so daring! I also love Jane Fonda and Helen Mirren. They looked fab!

  27. Really like Sienna's look. Must admit, I completely forgot about the Globes - I am not particularly interested in this sort of thing anyway, and with everything else on my mind, it completely went by unnoticed until now. :)

  29. I haven't watched the Golden Globes in forever, but you were right - seemed more plain that usual. Aren't there usually women wearing crazy outfits? or am I thinking of a different awards show?
