LORAC Take Me To TANtego Review and Swatches

This Summer ('17), LORAC Cosmetics came out with five (5) individual TANtalizer Buildable Bronzing Powders. I contemplated doing this post, because I purchased LORAC's TANtalizer Take Me To TANtego last Summer :) ('16) I'm going ahead with this review, because although it's not offered anymore, it might give you some insight into the quality of their bronzers (which I was curious about at the time). All the shades are very pretty and brown in the palette! Whenever you buy a bronzer, you hope they stay that way and don't pull orange on you ;) Well, I'm happy to say, these stayed true. These apply very light! I like that, because it gives you room to build up coverage and create the tan effect you would like to achieve. The two top shades, TAN Antonio and TAN Diego are matte. The two bottom shades, Cabo TAN Luca and TANta Cruz have a slight shimmer. I used all 4 below, using the shimmer shades on my cheeks. I loved them all. They really created a natural tan. This also came with an angled brush, which made application a breeze. Have you tried any Lorac Bronzers? I'm wearing Milani lipstick in D'Oro (36) below.

  1. I had a Lorac bronzer years ago that turned unbearably orange, almost coral, when I put it on. Needless to say, I've been very wary of their bronzers ever since! I'm glad to see their formulas have improved because, aside from the colour, I really did like the bronzer I had. I'll add them back to my "to try" list!

  2. Bronzer that pulls orange is the worst Kim! I'm so repulsed by the color orange these days if y'know what I mean O_o The buildable coverage sounds really nice since you want to have some measure of control over your tan and these look very natural and glowy on you. You're also rocking that lipstick :)

  4. These look really great on you and I love the packaging. I think its great they include 4 color options both matte and shimmer plus the brush! I have been using so many different bronzers lately but a palette like this would be great for when I go to Mexico. I'll probably end up bringing atleast 3 diff bronzers since my skin tone is going to change dramatically in one week haha

  5. First off, how cute are the names?! Haha, I love them! I've heard nothing but great things about Lorac in general and it seems as though there's a common thread to what I've been reading and hearing and that's their formulas are buttery and soft, which I'm sure makes a huge difference in the application. I love the fact that it came with an angled brush, which is so pretty btw! Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us, beauty, and I hope you're having a great week so far!

  6. Beautiful bronzers Kim, they both look great on you! I don't like orange bronzers at all, who would they think we like orange faces and they make them no idea!

  8. For some reason, I assumed they'd be crazy pigmented but I'm glad to hear they're more buildable. That's definitely how I prefer my bronzers to be!

  11. This looks like a great bronzer and I love that it's a quad so you can build it. This would be too dark for my pale skin but it looks fantastic on you. It's great to know their formula is good and they look so natural on the skin.

  12. This looks like such a gorgeous palette, and these all look beautiful on you Kim! I love the names of each shade too! I have the Lorca tantalizer duo with a Bronzer and a pinkish highlight. I don't know if they still make it or not. I use to love it but haven't used it in a while. I'll have to check out loracs new bronzers!

  14. Okay, so THIS looks like something I'm in desperate need of right now haha. I'm so pasty, this palette looks like a gorgeous way of giving the impression of a natural tan - albeit with a shimmering 'glow'!! :)
