Christian Louboutin's 20th Anniversary Capsule Collection

Tuesday, February 7, 2012

Yesterday's post was text heavy. I had to release, after my Jason Wu shopping experience. HaHa...Ohhhh the stress! I thought I was in The Hunger Games! LOL I'm so not use to that magnitude of stress. LOL So today, I'm going easy on you and me with only a couple of photos.

Christian Louboutin (US)(Canada) has put together some of his favorite designs from the past two decades, for a 20th Anniversary Capsule Collection (6 handbags, 20 shoes...one for each year). (source) I could've posted the actual photos of the shoes, but why do the ordinary. You guys know me! I like the EXTRAordinary. I came across some of his sketches and simply adore them! So I wanted to share them with you.

Where are the actual shoes? Hmmm. They're on his Facebook page! Not sure how to acquire them. Looks like you have to put your name on a waitlist of some sort; but you can get them. Oh well, enjoy Christian Louboutin's fabulous illustrations. I love illustrations! They're so charming. The name of the shoe is on the side of each one.

I'm almost caught up with blog comments. Got a good bit done yesterday.
If I haven't gotten to your blog yet, don't fear I will be reaching yours later today :) Hooray!!!

I LOVE that you posted the sketches! I always think it's so cool to see the sketches before they're turned into reality. Now, how do I go about convincing the Fiance that he should buy me these....

Do you think they sell these? I'd buy one. It would be the closest I'd ever come to my own pair of Louboutin's. All the Wu stuff at my Target is gone...but you'll find it on ebay for sooo much more. I.HATE.PEOPLE!

I love fashion illustrations and enjoyed looking at these sketches as much as (if not more than) actual photos of the shoes. These would make lovely framed pictures.

Wow I love all of the sketches!! Those shoes are always so beautiful but I don't think I'd ever wear them - for fear of getting them dirty!

They all look amazing and I'm not surprised. They always have exquisite shoes. I will never pay what they want for them but if they ever want to give me a pair for being a good little blogger I wouldn't say no ;) hahaha

*sigh* Loooooove Louboutins! I'm glad he's making more mid heels now because even though I love his skyscrapers, I can't walk in them. You always leave such wonderful comments and take the time to read everyone's blog. I'm having trouble keeping up now so I try my best to check my favorite blogs every 3 days.
