Fourth of July Mix: Cupcakes, Cocktails, and a Video

Thursday, July 5, 2012

Hey Everybody! I hope you had a delightful holiday yesterday! It was the 4th of July (Independence Day) here in the States, so like many others I celebrated with my family.

I started off healthy by juicing (you can read my juicing tips HERE) and eating fresh fruit for breakfast, but by the end of the day the "naughty food" made an appearance. HaHa Oh well! I enjoyed myself!

Our menu consisted of BBQ chicken, potato salad, and baked beans. I made chocolate cupcakes, with strawberries, blueberries and vanilla icing. We had lemonade with slices of lemon and orange in it and I had an evening cocktail of Disaronno on the rocks (Drink Responsibly!), pineapple juice and of course a cherry! Can you believe I took a pic of my outfit for the day? It's a simple, blue gingham sundress and white summer sweater by Old Navy.Very Picnic-Ish! HaHa I also made a video for you guys! Enjoy!

Ahh..your always precious, love the videos you do :)) Always wonderful to see your beautiful face :) And all the food looks amazing..yum!! Am really glad you had a wonderful 4th of July time with family. I was stood on the side of the road waiting for the Queen to pass by..I am crazy!! The weather threatened to rain on us, but thankfully it held out and poured after we got inside. Haha. I think I'll try and do some videos of places I go to around here to go with my blog posts when I visit castles and other interesting places. Not sure if I'll talk on them, haha. But, we'll see :)) Have a sweet day girl! xx

A good friend of mine is obsessed with juicing. I try to do it at least once a week but it's a self disciplined thing. What a fun way to celebrate the 4th. Love the photograph of yourself. And oh my, what an incredible spread!

Everyone is juicing these days! A friend of mine just got a juicer and he's been drinking his meals for the past month. I'm soooo jealous.

We certainly had our share of bad food, but I was totally sick as a dog that day, so I didn't eat too much! I love gingham...the blue is perfect for the occasion!
