Rihanna Uncensored: Harper's Bazaar

Saturday, July 7, 2012

I've always been a fan of Rihanna. So I was really excited to hear that she was going to be on the cover of the 2012 August edition of Harper's Bazaar.

I'm always equating her to Madonna, because you never know what you're going to get next when it comes to both of them. HaHaHa One minute, Rihanna is doing an S&M themed video and coloring her hair red. Then she appears almost angelic in this Harper's Bazaar photo shoot with a smidgen of fierceness and defiance thrown in the mix.

I've had moments where I've questioned some of the things and decisions Rihanna has made. But hell, I've questioned some of the decisions I've made in the past! HaHaHa If I could step back in time, I would change some of those things. I think many of us would. So who's to judge! It's a part of growing up, learning and evolving. As women, I think we all have "different sides" to us. We have an angelic side, devilish side, sexy side, sweet side, dark side, light side...I could go on, but you get the point.

Rihanna, gives Harper's Bazaar a glimpse into her love life, music and style with an enlightening interview. I think you will be surprised regarding her thoughts about LOVE and DATING. As fans (of any star or regular person), I think we're too quick to pass judgement on people (tattoos, bright colored hair, unique clothing styles, piercings). Sometimes what's on the outside is not a true reflection of the inner qualities of a person. I've seen preppy peeps that were crazyyy and people that had a gazillion tattoos that were brilliant! Give everyone a chance! That's always my message!

I think she looks amazing. Very beautiful woman now. I think we all go through our growing up stage, trying to find ourselves in the world and who we are and I thinks he's done the same and will continue to do so. Love these photos :)) Hope you have a great weekend doll!! x

Kim, you make a great point about not judging people that we don't know. She is sexy, young and blessed with so much god given talent. I wish bloggers who work hard at taking their own fashions shoots could have an opportunity like this to be doted upon all day. Have a great weekend...great point! dawn suitcase vignettes xo

Tom Ford knows how to make a woman's presence known - rowr! It is interesting to know and yet not really know celebrities. We can be complex and show different sides of ourselves so why judge right?

Kim,
Rihanna's pictures are amazing, quite a photoshoot. You remind us that we are "Every Woman, it's all in me" and we have so many sides..we are very much in evolution all the time.

Have a great weekend lovely! Muah.

I agree with everything Dawn just said! And I like what you said about questioning your own decisions, ha! Your post definitely made me warm up to Ri again, I've been feeling kind of meh about her lately because her last couple songs have been so boring, so thanks for sharing, Kim!

Wow I love how her hair is longer and more natural coloured like when she first got signed as a singer, I think this is the best look on her! Her songs are so catchy and she's very inspirational, especially in what she's been through with Chris Brown!

I am a HUGE fan of hers. Yes, she has made mistakes, but she's still in her early 20's. We have all made quite a few mistakes in our 20's. I love her. She's talented and beautiful.

Rihanna looks really classy here! I'm amazed.

I agree about questioning some of our decisions made in life. Of course we might want to change some but some should be left exactly as they are as we learn and grow from these experiences too.
