Fall Decorating at Home Depot's Garden Center

Does this put you in
the Fall spirit?

Last year I went with a Halloween theme for the outside of my home. This year, I decided to do strictly Fall decor. I thought it would work for both Halloween and Thanksgiving!

Home Depot had everything I needed. I purchased pine bark nuggets (mulch), orange mums, and pumpkins. A big shout out to the guys that worked in the garden section (Harahan store)! They lifted the heavy bags of mulch and snapped a picture of me in their cute Fall area setup. Thanks!!!

But you know, there's always ONE BUZZARD in PARADISE! HaHaHa When I was snapping pics outside of Home Depot, one guy said "I would LOVE to be in that pic!" I said to myself, if you don't keep walking, you're going to get one of these pumpkins UP YOUR NOSE! :) HaHaHa

Stop by the blog tomorrow and find out where I went after leaving Home Depot! Another cool place! You'll see me in the same outfit for the next couple of posts, because I did all of this in ONE day. LOL

Remember, I blogged about this Banana Republic purse after seeing it in a magazine? Well I bought it and love it! I love it in black and they have it in some great COLORS. It's the perfect little bag for on the go!

Have a great Wednesday everybody!

  10. What is up with creepsters being so blunt these days? I don't get it.

But I do like your fall decor theme. I think that will be great for both Halloween and turkey day.

  12. Haha you should have left the guy get in the picture...I agree with you with using strictly Fall decors for Halloween (and then if you get possessed with the Halloween spirit later lol you can always add 1 or 2 Halloween items to your Fall decor)

  33. Sweetie this is another gorgeous post! I love celebrating every season and savour (still dreaming from the Harrod's post) what nature offers. Here in Italy there's not much of a Halloween tradition (yet), plus my daughter would get scared by a Halloween setting, but I find it fascinating. Why don't you post some pics from last year decorations?the purse is lovely and so are you among the pumpkins!!That's why the man wanted to be in the picture ahaha. Big hugs my dear Kimmy :-xxxxxxxx

  36. Kim: you are slowly getting me in a festive mood and may i say shopping mood too after seeing that purse. I clicked right on just to find i adore blue as much as black. Grrr....gotta blame you for that..ha.

Love all the stuff at Home Depot, i have never shopped their as for decoration needs but they seem to have great selections. We will take a little munchin to the Pumpkin Patch at a church again this year, hoping to get some good pics to add to our photo books.
