IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Lines Foundation in Medium Tan, Bye Bye Pores Pressed and Heavenly Luxe Wand Ball Powder Brush Review and Swatches

Sponsored: I received an IT Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe Wand Ball Powder Brush and Bye Bye Pores Pressed Powder at an IT Cosmetics Happy Hour Event. I requested and received their Bye Bye Lines Foundation in Medium Tan from attending an IT Cosmetics Master Class at ULTA. Below are my thoughts on all the products that I receieved. All opinions are 100% my own.

IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Lines Foundation $38 - Bittersweet

IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Lines Foundation is for LIGHT TO MEDIUM COVERAGE. IT Cosmetics states it is anti-aging, skin-smoothing and provides invisible coverage. They also say it has peptides, hydrolyzed collagen, hyaluronic acid, caviar extract & sea water, argan & babassu oil and vitamins A, C, E, B1, B2, B3, B5, B7, B9, CoQ10. Woo! HaHaHa For me, this foundation was just ok. I struggled with it. I knew it wasn't going to give me full coverage, but the consistency when applied never came together. When I used a brush, it applied streaky. A Beautyblender was a little better. I ended up using my fingers. It just never looked uniform on my face. It broke apart. Then it oxidized and turned a tad orange on my skin. The CC+ Cream applied much better (so I prefer it). After my struggle, I looked at other reviews and a lot of people like this foundation. Please read other reviews, but this didn't work for me.

IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Pressed $29 - Bittersweet

IT Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe Wand Ball Powder Makeup Brush #8 $48 - Sweet

Translucent powder can be tricky. Either it goes on like a dream or it castes you in a white light.  This pressed powder compact, has a mirror, pressed powder and sponge. It's a great compact. The problem is, it doesn't compliment my skin tone. It was very chalky against my skin and it accentuated my fine lines. When I put it atop this foundation, it made my skin look dull and gray. It also lightened the foundation color. This wasn't as noticeable when I applied it atop the CC+ Cream. I think this would work better on lighter skin tones. I loved the brush! It's IT Cosmetics' Heavenly Luxe Wand Ball Powder Makeup Brush. Small manageable handle. Super soft fluffy bristles. You can just sweep powder easily, across your face & neck.

  1. Every product from every line ca't be a winner - some things just don't work for certain people and that doesn't necessarily reflect on the brand overall if they make a lot of other great products. Some people want less coverage and this may be right for the. Personally, I want full coverage so I would stay away. But I always appreciate your honesty commentary, Kim.

  2. I've never tried anything from it cosmetics -- i've been thinking about ordering somethings.. what do you suggest?
I actually prefer light coverage since I don't really go for a really full face of make up. Really loved that you gave a very honest opinion! great review :)

  4. I haven't tried anything from this brand, I like medium coverage in products since I find that it works better for me and gives me that natural feeling. Too bad you didn't like it and with all these ingredients, you would have thought that it will be amazing! x

  5. The ingredients of the foundation sound really nice so it's a shame that the consistency of the product didn't come together. That brush looks and sounds just lovely though Kim!

  6. Foundations and powders are tricky to find the right ones for your skin. That is too bad the foundation did not work well for you.

  10. Oh no, Kim, the foundation and powder sound terrible but that's the thing about makeup and beauty products in general, not everything can work for everyone. Thank you for your honest as always, Kim!

  11. I'm glad you liked the brush Kim, that's too bad the other products didn't work out! I get frustrated when foundations apply streaky and don't look even. I'll skip that one and try the cc cream some day!
