Happy Chinese New Year 2019

Not Sponsored: I want to wish everyone a Happy Chinese New Year! 2019 is the Year of the Pig! HAPPIG New Year ;) Those cute little pink marzipan pigs below are from my Lolli & Pops blog post and YouTube video :) Since blogging, I've learned about and have adopted many Chinese New Year Traditions. I thoroughly cleaning my home, pay out debt, wear red, and make sure I have something sweet etc. They're excellent practices, that have really kept my life in order! I truly thank those that have taught me. You can read past posts on this topic from friends here and here.

I follow Harbour City in Hong Kong. It's a huge shopping mall. They always have those most interesting events at their mall. They had an interactive wishing experience this year. Visitors could win a lucky pouch by donating HK $20 near the "Wishing Treasure Bowl" installation. Each lucky pouch contains a Good Fortune Card with predictions for the coming year, and a “Wishing Gold Coin” which can be deposited into “Make a Wish Piggy Bank” for making a wish. The coin will roll through a lucky tunnel connecting the piggy bank to the gigantic “Wishing Treasure Bowl”, bringing fortunate blessings to everyone for the New Year. It looks fun! I posted the video for you below.

On Harbour City's YouTube page they posted an interesting video titled, 8 Lucky Things To Do For Chinese New Year. I mentioned some of these above. In the video, they speak with Feng Shui Master Kelvin Poon who studied after the famous Master Peter So Man-Fun. It's really good. I had to smile when he picked up that Charlotte Tilsbury set, because I just picked up her Pillow Talk Collection. I will be back to doing beauty reviews soon, I've just been very busy.

If you know you're Chinese Zodiac Sign (Animal), this video is also cool to watch. For example, I am The Year of the RAT! The Chinese Zodiac is based on the year that you were born. It's funny, because my mom is also a rat. The video below gives you an overview of your 2019 Year. If you follow me on Twitter, I posted THREE YouTube Videos in which Feng Shui Master Dr. Lee Shing Chak shares his predictions for EACH SIGN. So definitely check those out. I love learning about different cultures. I encourage you to do so as well. By doing so, you LEARN and GROW!
