Mally Beauty Evercolor Shadow Stick Extra and Evercolor Starlight Waterproof Eyeliner Review and Swatches

PR Sample: I received 14 of Mally Beauty's Evercolor Shadow Stick Extras (QVC, Kohls) and 4 of her Evercolor Starlight Waterproof Eyeliners (QVC, Kohls) to review. I've seen these on television. You apply them, wait 35 to 45 seconds and they stay on until you take them off. They come in a wonderful assortment of colors. There are 21 listed on her website. I was very impressed with the color payoff when I swatched these on the back of my hand. The colors were beautiful. Do they stay on? YES. But I found it took longer than 35 to 45 seconds. I found it took about 10 minutes for them to be "bulletproof" (no smudging etc.) That wasn't a problem for me at all. I apply makeup, get dressed etc. So to know it's bulletproof by the time I finish getting together is awesome. I found the eyeshadow sticks to be creamy. They blended easily on my eyes. I will say, I felt the colors were very light in color when applied to the eyelid. They didn't have the same punch as when I swatched them on the back of my hand. This could be that on the back of my hand, I just swatched a line. On my lid, I applied the eye shadow stick and then blended it out. When I blended out the shadow on my lid, the color also blended out. I swatched them on my lids and hands for you below (and I think you can see the difference). If you just apply them to your lid (NO BLENDING), then the color will stay true. The colors I received were very cool-toned. And I'm finding cool-tone colors don't work really well for me. I can use Golden Hour and Moonlight as accent eye shadows. The taupes turned grey on my lids. The purples and browns weren't purple or brown enough for my skin tone (especially if I blended them out). These just didn't work for me and I love Mally's makeup. The eyeliner's worked much better for me. I think it's because I applied them and didn't smudge them. These shadow sticks run $25 a stick. Sometimes she puts them in sets. I've also noticed, some colors are no longer available. She changes colors variably. I love the concept and functionality of them. It's just that these didn't compliment my skintone. They may work better for someone that likes cool-toned colors. I also want to mention the stick extends about 2 inches.

These eye shadows are definitely "bulletproof" as Mally states.
