Kiehl's Ultra Pure High-Potency Serum 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid Review

Not Sponsored: Kiehl's has come out with a trio of NEW serums. One is a Ultra Pure High Potency Niacinamide 5.0% Serum for oily skin that reduces excess oil and shine. Second is a Ultra Pure High Potency 9.8% Glycolic Acid Serum that smooths skin texture and boosts skin glow. Third is a Ultra Pure High Potency 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid Serum for dry skin that helps replenish and retain moisture for healthy looking hydrated skin. Moisture? Plumping? Yes, Please! I have very dry skin, so as you can imagine I was very eager to try the hyaluronic acid serum. I ordered it during the Sephora Rouge/VIB/Insider Sale and I would like to share my thoughts.

Let me first give you a little background information on Kiehl's Ultra Pure High Potency 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid Serum (Space NK, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, Selfridges, Nordstrom, Macys, Kiehls, Saks Fifth Avenue). As mentioned above Kiehl's describes this serum as, "a concentrated 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid serum for dry skin made with only 7 ingredients that helps replenish and retain moisture for healthy-looking, hydrated skin." It is a "pure and potent formula [that] leaves skin feeling more plump, healthy and hydrated." It's benefits include the following: Formulated to help visibly replenish and hydrate dry skin; Minimally formulated for skin absorption and efficacy; Skin feels more plump after just one week; Suitable for all skin types, including sensitive; Free of fragrance and colorants. You simply, apply 2–3 drops to clean, dry skin in the morning and evening.

I have very dry skin. My skin is also sensitive and reactive. I was immediately impressed with this serum. I applied a drop of this serum on each of the four areas of my face. The serum is lightweight, soothing and quickly absorbs into the skin. It will not take a week for you to see that your skin is more plump or moisturized. When you apply this serum, give it a couple of minutes and your skin will look more plump and FEEL more moisturized. How well will this serum work for YOU? That depends on the condition of your skin. If you don't have a lot of fine lines or deep set wrinkles, this serum should be enough for you. I am 51. I don't have deep wrinkles, but I do have a lot of fine lines (especially under my eyes). This serum plumped and moisturized my skin. It is very good. But my Fresh Kombucha Essence (Sephora, Neiman Marcus, Space NK, Harrods, Nordstrom) does a better job reducing the appearance of those lines than this serum. So although this is very good, for ME (and maybe others) I won't be switching to the Kiehl's serum. But definitely give it a try.
