I really love the Christmas collection Too Faced came out with this year. I thought I would take the next several days to review the items I purchased. The first item I purchased is called The Sweet Smell Of Christmas. It's a set of four (4) Too Faced Melted Matte Liquid Lipsticks in HOLIDAY SCENTS & COLORS. Too Faced introduces new scents every year. Last year, it was the Gingerbread Man (review). It was so popular, that it quickly sold out (many missed out). I'm so glad they reintroduced it this year. In 2016, there was Candy Cane. I still have mine and it STILL smells like chocolate & peppermint. Sometimes I just open it and take a whiff. LOL Also in 2016 there was Lady Balls, which I just wore at the Disney PR Event. It's a beautiful red and it stays put. So let's go over the NEW group introduced this year.

supersweet(run & buy it) sweet(really good,buy it) bittersweet(ok, issues)not sweet(not good,don't buy this stuff)
Too Faced The Sweet Smell Of Christmas Melted Matte Liquid Lipstick Set is Sweet

The Sweet Smell Of Christmas Set $25 (Nordstrom, ULTA, Macys, JCPenney, Sephora) includes four (4) Too Faced Melted Mattes in Sugar Cookie, Hot Buttered Rum, Pumpkin Spice, and Cinnamon Bear. The outside packaging is just as cute the lipstick packaging. I was debating whether to keep it or throw it away. Each lipstick has a designated Christmas stocking. The pumpkin spice lipstick has a stocking with a slice of pumpkin pie & whip cream on it. The sugar cookie lipstick has a stocking with a cookie on it. The cinnamon bear lipstick has a stocking with a cute red cinnamon bear on it. And the hot buttered rum lipstick has a stocking with a mug of hot buttered rum on it. On the back of the package are swatches of the colors, the names of each and cute pictures denoting each one. These are not full-size, but deluxe size. As you can see from my gif, this set fits into the palm of your hand. It's super cute.

The packaging for the lipsticks are just as cute! Clear casing, so you can easily see the color for each lipstick. Too Faced Melted Matte is written on the front. The name of the lipstick is written on the back. The cuteness factor are the actual caps! The sugar cookie lipstick has an assortment of sugar cookies on the cap. The buttered rum lipstick has mugs of buttered rum, whipped cream and a cinnamon stick on the cap. The pumpkin spice lipstick has pictures of pumpkins, whole pumpkin pies and slices of pumpkin pie with whip cream on the cap. DO YOU FEEL MY EXCITEMENT?! LOL And the cinnamon bear lipstick has cute red cinnamon bears on the cap. I love this because when you have a drawer full of lipsticks, this really helps. I can easily go in my lipstick drawer and pull out the color I need. Its so easy.

Hand swatches! Let's talk colors! L-R. Sugar Cookie is described as a Sugared Nude. Next is Hot Buttered Rum. Hot Buttered Rum is described as a Warm Caramel Brown. Then you have Pumpkin Spice. Pumpkin Spice is described as a Spiced Rose Brown. Last you have Cinnamon Bear. Cinnamon Bear is described as a Matte Cinnamon Red. I thought I would do some comparison swatches for you. I swatched Candy Cane on the top of my hand. As you can see, it's more PINK than red (in comparison to Cinnamon Bear). Towards the bottom of my hand I swatched Gingerbread Man. Gingerbread Man has more orange & brown (richer) than Pumpkin Spice. The new Gingerbread Girl lipstick is BROWNER than Hot Buttered Rum and deeper than Gingerbread Man. I will be reviewing the entire Too Faced Gingerbread Collection in a few days. I personally hope Jerrod Blandino comes out with a Gingerbread House next year! LOL SCENTS!!! Sugar Cookie smells like warm baked fresh out of the oven sugar cookies. Hot Buttered Rum smells delicious. You pick up the cinnamon & whip cream scent! Pumpkin Spice smells like pumpkin or sweet potato pie (oh the cinnamon!) And Cinnamon Bear smells just like the candy. Superb job with these!

Too Faced Melted Matte Lipstick in SUGAR COOKIE (sugared nude)
This was the only color that looked bland on me (because of its cool-toned shade), but I can mix it with some glossy nudes or pinks I have in my collection. The packaging is too cute to get rid of, plus it smells warm cookie delicious.

Too Faced Melted Matte Lipstick in HOT BUTTERED RUM (warm caramel brown)
I LOVE THIS COLOR! It's so perfect for Autumn & Fall. I have nothing like this in my collection. It's a beautiful kiss of brown...caramel to be exact :) I just wish the weather would turn cooler here in New Orleans, so I can pair this with my sweaters. This is just a kiss of warmth for your lips. I hope Jerrod considers coming out with full-size tubes next year.

Too Faced Melted Matte Lipstick in PUMPKIN SPICE (spiced rose brown)
Hot Buttered Rum & Pumpkin Spice are such pretty browns. Pumpkin Spice has more orange in it. It's truly beautiful. And as I showed you above is the lightest brownish orange out of gingerbread man and gingerbread girl.

Too Faced Melted Matte Lipstick in Cinnamon Bear (matte cinnamon red)
This is a rich, gorgeous, deep red. I love red lipsticks, but I hate how red lipsticks venture to places they shouldn't. That's where mattes come in! If you need a beautiful red that will stay on your lips and not go elsewhere definitely get this! If you have Lady Balls, that is a true red. Cinnamon Bear is a deeper red. This is a stunning color.
