PR Sample: Lancome PR sent me an assortment of mascara's to try, so I thought it would be really cool to review each for you this week and do a comparison. So far, I've reviewed Lancome's CILS Booster XL Enhancing Lash Primer and Hypnose Drama Waterproof Mascara. Today, I will be reviewing their Definicils High Definition Mascara (Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, Harrods, Selfridges, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Amazon). I've always wanted to try Definicils. Lancome states this mascara is, "For Natural, Yet Noticeable Eyelashes". Well, I'm all for that! They go on to say that it is, "An iconic mascara that creates clean and defined, natural-looking lashes." I'm all for that as well! The formula for this mascara is composed of panthenol and Vitamin B5. This mascara is ophthalmologist-tested, fragrance-free, and suitable for contact lens wearers. I would just like to insert, that I wear contacts and I haven't had a problem wearing any of Lancome's mascaras. No irritation and removal is so easy. So what are my thoughts regarding Definicils? I really love this mascara and can see myself using it everyday! Let me tell you why! The wand, brush and bristles for this mascara are amazing. I love the sleek design of the packaging. It's easy to hold and apply. Lancome describes the bristles on the brush as "a fine comb-like brush, it’s “hedgehog” bristles pattern enables Définicils to dispense the perfect amount of product lash-by-lash..." The bristles, TRULY separate every lash. They separate and coat each lash, from root to tip. I found the Definicils mascara on it's own, will make your lashes look superb (look in comparison to my sparse lashes). Amazing (the difference) huh!?! If you want to clearly define your lashes, then this is the mascara for you. If you want your lashes to have even extra PIZAZZ, apply Lancome's CILS Booster XL Enhancing Lash Primer (link above) first and then Definicils. I show it with and without below. It creates a VERY STRIKING look! Remember to apply the CILS Booster XL (don't let it dry) and then apply your mascara. I do top lash + mascara, then bottom lash + mascara. I take each eye separately. Lancome's Definicils mascara also comes in a Waterproof version. I love Definicils! I'm reviewing Lancome mascaras all week, so stay tuned for another one tomorrow!
