Garnier Moisture Bomb Moisturizer, Belif Moisturizing Bomb, Clinique Moisture Surge, Skin Inc. Pure Revival Peel, Deepsea Hydrating Mask & Hyaluronic Acid Serum Review

I accumulated a lot of deluxe samples of moisturizers.
I've had a chance to test them out and I'm ready to share my thoughts with you.
The blue water drop makeup removal mittys are from this post.

Sweet-Bittersweet-NotSweet
supersweet(run & buy it) sweet(really good,buy it) bittersweet(ok, issues)not sweet(not good,don't buy this stuff)

Belif The True Cream Moisturizing Bomb ($38) - Bittersweet
I've never tried anything from Belif Cosmetics. They are an herbal cosmetic brand. They believe in natural herbs & ingredients and treating the body & mind. The brand states, that this moisturizer is a 26-hour moisturizing cream that keeps skin soft and smooth with Comfrey Leaf extract. This moisturizer doesn't contain any mineral oil, synthetic fragrance, synthetic dyes, synthetic preservatives, animal-origin ingredients. This moisturizer is white. It's creamy. The problem I experienced was that it laid atop the skin and didn't sink into the skin. My skin felt soft after application, but it didn't feel moisturized. This moisturizer was just a little too heavy for my taste. It has a great clean & fresh scent, but it sits atop your skin like an emollient. Your skin will feel soft afterwards, but moisturized I don't think so. It's just ok.

Garnier Moisture Bomb Moisturizer ($16.99 MSRP) - Sweet
Garnier is a worldwide brand. They're well known for their hair care products. I was excited to try Moisture Bomb. It's a near dupe for the Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Cream Hydrating Moisturizer (with ONE small difference). I'll mention it at the end. Garnier states on their website, "this water-light gel-cream with Hyaluronic Acid, an ingredient naturally found in skin, floods skin with intense, weightless moisture and plumps out dry lines. This non-greasy formula with Antioxidant-rich Goji Berry, Vitamins C & E, and Pomegranate, helps strengthen the moisture barrier to stop the cycle of dry skin. Instantly see and feel the difference of hydrated skin with a more youthful look day after day." It's a superb drink for the skin! My skin immediately felt moisturized. If you don't want to pay the $22-$52 for Peter Thomas Roth's moisturizer, then get this. The difference? The Garnier moisture only lasts about 6 hours, then you will have to reapply. The Peter Thomas Roth moisture lasts 24 hours. But it's a nice moisturizer.

Clinique Moisture Surge ($19-$52.50) - Bittersweet
I only had one packet of Clinique's Moisture Surge. I was able to get two applications out of it. This moisturizer has a clear bouncy gel-like texture. On Clinique's website they mention it's an advanced hydrator with auto-replenishing technology for 72 hours. It helps skin it's own internal water source. The key ingredients are hyaluronic acid fragments and activated aloe water. Let me just stop here! My skin experienced some moisture, but less than any other moisturizer I've ever tried (let alone 72 hours). I wasn't impressed. Maybe it was the small sample! If I get enough of this to try it again, I will. But what I experienced, it's a skip. Skip...Skip...Skip to the next moisturizer. LOL

Skin Inc. Pure Revival Peel ($55) - Bittersweet
Skin Inc. Pure Deep Sea Hydrating Mask ($45) - Not Sweet
Skin Inc. Hyaluronic Acid Serum ($35) - Bittersweet
This was gifted to me. It's a tube that contains three (3) samples of Skin Inc. products. Skin Inc. states these will give you dewy skin in a flash. I've never tried anything from Skin Inc. Let's start with the peel! It's clear in color. It's gel-like. Very lightweight. Skin Inc states it should be applied to dry skin for 10 seconds. You have to work fast. It's cool when applied. I never experienced any irritation, tingling or anything. It sloughs away dullness and preps the skin for the rest of your skincare regimen. As it dried, it did produce a massive amount of pilling on my skin. I washed it off and my skin felt smooth & soft. It's a non-abrasive peel, so I agree with what Skin, Inc says. The peel did its job, but there weren't any bells or whistles for me. Not like my Dr. Dennis Gross pads, where I went wow! So this works, but it's just ok in my book. The ingredients for the peel are AC-11, Arbutin and Fullerene. Great for all skin types including sensitive. Next they tell you to put on the mask for 30 minutes. It's clear as well (transparent gel). You can either sleep with it on or apply (clean skin) & leave on for 30 minutes. You then wash it off. I tested this mask twice for 30 minutes. My face did not feel hydrated afterwards. Soft, but it was a little dry. I wasn't impressed. The last product in this tube was their hyaluronic acid serum. This serum is clear in color and has blue beads. Initially it feels good to the skin. It starts off adding moisture, but then it dries down...there's some tack. You just feel this lightweight film on the skin. So unfortunately, I'm not impressed with the Skin Inc. brand.
