Not Sponsored: Soap & Glory makes some really good products and their products are very affordable. I am a SUPER FAN of their Breakfast Scrub, Smoothie Star and Sugar Crush products. I have repeatedly used and purchased these products over the years. But over the past couple of years, Soap & Glory has released some scents, that personally haven't appealed to me. Scents are a funny thing, either you will like them or you won't. I SUPER LOVE Sugar Crush! It's an invigorating blend of lime, mandarin, jasmine, brown sugar and vanilla creme brulee. So I was excited to see that Soap & Glory was coming out with a NEW SCENT called The Real Zing. The Real Zing is composed of lemon, lime and neroli. Lately, citrus scents have been appealing to me. Well you guys! Well! My older readers, know where I'm about to go with this review. This scent didn't work for me. It didn't work for me at all. HaHaHa I ordered The Real Zing online. I advise you NOT to do that. GO TO THE STORE and smell it (before purchasing it). I'll take it even further than that! Smell The Real Zing Body Sorbet FIRST! To me, it's the worst. It smells like Lemon Furniture Polish. Anyone familiar with Old English Furniture Polish? Do you know how strong it is? This scent reminds me of it. Great to moisturize furniture, but not for your body! The Real Zing Body Wash is slightly better. The scent is not as strong as the body sorbet. The scent for the body wash goes away as soon as you finish showering. So that's a good thing. Getting past the scent for both of these, there is a silver lining. Both products work great! The body wash is creamy, lathers well, feels good on the skin and moisturizes the skin well. Anyone familiar with Soap & Glory products (especially their body butters) take note as to what I say next. The BODY SORBET IS NOT BODY BUTTER. It is a SORBET! It looks like SORBET! It's the first of its kind for Soap & Glory. I didn't realize it when I ordered it. If you look at the picture below, you will see it has a different texture and appearance. The BODY SORBET may not provide as much moisture as their BODY BUTTER's especially if you have DRY SKIN. So be mindful of that. Bottom line, you will only like The Real Zing, if you like the scent.
