L'Occitane Delicious Lip Scrub Review: Raspberry Crush

Not Sponsored: I love soft, moisturized and exfoliated lips. I've tried a number of lip scrubs through the years and my favorite brand is still Sara Happ (she is definitely the lip expert and practically perfect in every way ... Mary Poppins Quote). So I decided to try L'Occitane's Delicious Lip Scrub in Raspberry Crush (here and here). Fruits and vitamins (on the front of the package)!?! I'm all for it. Love both! As soon as you open the jar, it smells like raspberries! It smells so good. It looks like raspberry jam, with seeds and all. I kind of went into Willy Wonka mode. Remember the lickable wallpaper? The raspberries taste like raspberries. The snozzberries ... Ok, I'll stop. HaHaHa But honestly everything is so REAL about this lip scrub. It looks real. It tastes real. Its good for 6 months after opening. It's infused with Vitamins C & E, cold pressed pomegranate oil, organic carrot oil, and Corsican pomelo oil. You rub it onto dry lips (the acid from the fruits provide the exfoliation). Rinse off with water. Only a small amount is needed. I found this to be an excellent moisturizing lip scrub (but its light on exfoliation ... even with the seeds, acids etc.). Its a great lip scrub if you consistently take care of your lips. If your lips are cracked or really dry and need to be exfoliated, you'll need something that exfoliates a lot more (like Sara Happ ... may I recommend her pink grapefruit lip scrub here, here and here, peach lip scrub here, here and here and brown sugar lip scrub here, here and here). This lip scrub comes in a variety of adult flavors, such as meli-melon (here), marmalade kiss (here), raspberry crush (links above) and fabulous fig. This lip scrub is a really nice treat for the lips. I just wish it had a little more exfoliating power and it would be perfect.
